Custom Addition, Brentwood, TN
Project Scope: Existing home in Brentwood, TN- we added a 2-story addition onto the back of the house with adjacent covered porch
Timeline: 8 months from concept to completion
Home Story: This young family needed more space, a guest room, and a quiet office for the husband working from home. We designed and built a two-story addition off the main living area, connected through a large cased opening to preserve the open-floor concept.
The new first floor features a bright secondary living room with slider doors, a ventless fireplace, a screened porch with a hot tub, and a versatile guest room with a Murphy bed doubling as the wife’s home office. Upstairs, the husband’s vaulted office includes a bar area and golf simulator. We also added a cozy play cubby under the staircase.
