Our first meeting is all about getting to know you and your goals for your future home. We'll collaborate to define your style, prioritize design elements, discuss your budget, and outline the details that will bring your dream home to life.
The Concept.
The Layout—from Flow to Floorplan.
Once we have fully unpacked your design wants and needs, we will then put pencil to paper to dial in the general layout of the main spaces in your home. We will create a system a blocks that will broadly define how your proposed space will feel and “flow”…
From here, we will further define the boundaries of your space by creating a floorplan. This is where we will work with you to prescribe actual dimensions room by room.
The Elevations—let’s add some curb appeal.
At this stage in the design, we will begin adding some texture and character to the front, side, and rear elevations of your home. We will define roof lines, exterior door and window trims and treatments, and exterior cladding (brick, sidings, stone, stucco, etc..)
The Build—let’s bring it to life.
After finalizing all elevation lines and exterior covering features, we will compile all pertinent build info into a working set of construction documents taking into consideration all local and jurisdictional codes and requirements specific to your area.
